Home Safety Services recently celebrated Tracy Seniors Association’s (TSA) continued efforts to help reduce falls throughout the Tracy community. The group received a “falls prevention” appreciation award and donation to continue their programs.
TSA’s mission is to: Improve the overall experience of people 55 years and older living in the greater Tracy CA region by promoting health, wellness and safety. Their programs include: free in-home safety assessments for all seniors; free grab bars, handrails, threshold ramps and other safety equipment installed by our contractor for low-income seniors; provide Durable Medical Equipment; free one-time handyman projects completed by our volunteer handymen/women such as fixing leaky faucets, changing light bulbs; “Flags for Seniors:” free scooter or wheelchair flags that are easily seen by cars.
